~SHE'S THE ONE~
The fun that we shared, in the years of our youth
Brings a glowing smile to my face
The sparklers, a pink bike, and shed kiss, too
Were all a planted seed, of LOVE so true
SHE'S THE ONE.....
Those youthful days had faded away
Living a life as young adults do
Such fun continued to rise with the sun
Games of putt putt and dancing with you
With night owl calls and afternoon matinees
most respectable of them all- was the prom night phase
For which we both looked tempting hot
A surprising note ~ our clothes came off,NOT!!
SHE'S THE ONE.....
We had dreamt of college, three boys and more
For which the time knew not, what was in store
Our paths were silenced and painstakingly split
flushing all dreams that had gone to shit
I came looking for you, though you were gone
My heart dreams cried out, TELL ME, WHAT WENT WRONG?
Where's my best friend, the man who owns my heart?
Gone..... far away..... Gone.....
I gave up on dreams and true happiness
living a life settling for less
SHE'S THE ONE.....
I found myself pregnant with child
Though medically could not
Such dreams I had, had shifted
To this tiny miraculous tot
The joy he brought helped numb the pain
Clutching him tightly through life's stormy rain.
Though many years had robbed our time
Of smiles, hugs, tears and laughter
My hope had been renewed
SHE'S THE ONE.....
Through saddened moments, when Nana grew ill
I felt you there beside me
I knew forever it had been, that each of us had talked
But deep inside, I felt that tug
to be at Nana's side
I shared deep love, admiration, too
For the way Nana LOVED you
I felt you that day, embracing me all the way.
SHE'S THE ONE.....
My heart was overjoyed
That your life was filled with boys
Though deep inside my heart cried too
Desiring to bear a child for you
I took my chances and tippy toed
Confessed my LOVE which truly was owed
I glanced and smiled as I drove out of sight
Wishing it was I that hung with you that night
SHE'S THE ONE.....
How vivid I remember, the night you spilled your guts
No more could you keep a lid, on your mouth tightly shut
You shared of how you've LOVED me, from moments of long ago
While playing and teasing was endless
A time for love to grow
It felt as though, NO time had passed
We had picked up were we left off
We talked for hours and reminisced
Rebuilding our dreams once again
I could have sworn that I was dreaming
And prayed that I would not be awoken
I felt your LOVE~ though miles away
How amazing, you have made me feel
I honestly believe in soul mates, this you know is REAL
That moment when you read my mind, completely blew me away
Though validated my belief, for which I fight for this day
SHE'S THE ONE.....
Those poems you wrote- have branded my heart
They've touched me in special way
I find myself often reflecting on them
For those days, when you feel so far away
You've helped create new hope in me
To see myself and believe in the possibility
You've offered more, than my settling for less
To have your heart pressed against my breast
SHE'S THE ONE.....
I stuck it out and held my breath
That our dreams would finally come true
With days of anticipation, our count down held quite a few
I was drifting on cloud nine, waiting anxiously to be with you
Those nights embraced... with the moonlit shown
I hungered and desired this feeling unknown,
The LOVE of our planted seed- had passionately grown
Our bodies united, intimately flown.
I NEVER could forget, MY FAVORITE ONE,
My BEST FRIEND and TRUE LOVE, Mr. Nappi's son.

FANTASTIC SUGAR BEAR! You really caught my attention, When you wrote "We both looked tempting hot,and a suprising note our clothes came off,NOT!" Remember, I do have a good imagination,(laugh)But, all in all it was very, very good. It tells me what kind of girl you really are, and what kind of life obstacles you are going through.

I really like this one for the same reasons that you are drawn to my works as well. It reminds me of a best friend who I have alot of Love for. Unfortunately, the Love that I would like to share is, to my indescribable disappointment, forbidden because she is already taken.
But in the end, whatever is meant to be shall be.
