~ WINTER DAZE ~

Slightly tucked in...from those Autumn Daze
Quickly shoveling out...from the Nor Easter craze

All bundled up...like storybook Eskimos
Sipping on hot cocoa...with tiny marshmellows

Frozen ponds unite...with youth and sharpened blades
Snot dripping noses...momentous cascades

Sculptors of Art...spritzing with their spray
Chiseling ice chips...mountains on display

Humorous bystanders...want in on the winter gaze
Creating snowmen with snowballs...drawing contagious praise

Pulling out that wardrobe...worn mostly throughout the year
Scarf's, gloves and mittens...dreadful hats that mess your hair

Billowing smoke...dancing from the chimney stacks
Observed by the children...while sledding on their backs

Juvenile chef choices...icicles verse snowflakes
Along with yellow snow...STOP, put on the brakes

Howling winds...skims the frozen life
Skipping those hibernating...in winters paradise

Speaking of such slumber...that Ground Hog, What the HECK!!!
Predicting continuous weather...I'd like to wring his neck

Surrendering to childish ways...

Therapeutic remedy...for those WINTER DAZE !!!

Your Welcome. Boy, Oh Boy! Talking about hitting the nail with the hammer. I extremely love the last part about the ground hog, gonna wring his neck. I like to wring his neck if he predicts more winter activity, specially here in Michigan.
