Soul Mates

Touch me in love
brush my tears away
I’ve been waiting for you
a thousand years and a day
when you touch me I’ll know you
there’s nothing you’ll need to say
I’m your poet, you’re my musician
sing my words, while I dance
to the tunes that you play.

   I like this poem. It is short but it is to the point. It has emotion, it has a tone of love, urequited, waiting for the one who is the long awaited lover...
