Approaching Storm

Approaching Storm

Life is crazy
thoughts are hazy
we’ve grown so lazy
when it comes to change.

Too many factions
fierce over-reactions
scare us to inaction
before we can turn the page.

So tired of liars
shorted-out wires
the big, bad wolf criers
hogging up our mortal stage.

Butterflies are not free
and neither are we
but when will we see
the approaching storm's rage?

When it's too late. Very musical, I like it. I can relate to the frustration you feel.
