facing nothingness

the bravest challenge
i could think of
is nothing when a world
is falling apart
this strange universe of mine
becomes the prison
the empty cell, the closed
space that kept me away
before it all began

the bravest challenge
i could think of
is facing everything again
the pain that's sitting
in my shadow
the last of all regrets

building a world of broken
mirrors
hurts more than being brave
