occurance

she forgot about her jealousy one day
as she poured the coffee in a chinese
cup. her addiction to warmth
turned cold and sweet
as she drank the coffee
with sugar and love
in a foreign place.

take the lead, for once, help the
unfortunate.

she imagines the light on his skin
the taste of the afternoon
under covers, in the reign of
the unspoken.

take the lead, for once, i need
to turn, to forget, in this dance.

he leaves a mark on her arm
she thought of the scarlet A
as she poured the coffee
in a chinese cup.
