mothers issues
I don't dare even glance at you
for I know what your face will say
I'm terrified
and angry
I just wish you could see
see what you have done to me
and read my helpless mind
the parking lot is my blanket
I wanted to,
almost did
tell you everything
I decided against it
we arrived home,
all we wantred to do
was go to the theatre
it ended badly
the lonely walk in the park
was wonderful
I got to think
and express myself
to an unknowing creature
Sammy sat there wanting attention
I gave in
I also told her everything
she's merely just a dog
but a wonderful listener at that
the thoughts that wer flowing through my head
are put behind me now
I wish for one more chance
to tell you this
I even waste my 11:11 wish
on things to become better with you.
