Going Under

Never had a mother
No-one ever loved her
Daddy came home later
She was 13 when he raped her
Do you really wonder
Why she's going under
And dosn't want to come back up again

Making up excuses
Trying to hide the bruises
Everyone stays silent
As she explains that doors are violent

She ran away to try
And have a go at life
She thought she made a friend
But the cycle started again

Treated like dirt
And constantly hurt
Her body not her own
Beaten, raped, alone

Do you really wonder
Why she's going under
And dosn't want to breath again

Seen the worst of this world
She's just a little girl
She going under
Never gonna
Breath again
