stupid
you say you'll be there
you'll hold my hand
dry my tears
we'll last the years
so i let you in
break down the walls
show you my heart
all its faults
i show you my pages
their blood sweat and tears
my sorrows and fears
but you dont dry my tears
you turn your head
you dont care for my art
my darkness within
my broken heart
you couldnt be bothered
to actually care
you say i'm being stupid
i was stupid to share

i'm right here with you, i learned at an early age that some people can't handle the darkness that lies inside all of us to some extent, they take it so personal like they've failed you somehow, my dad is the worst when it comes to this, when he says "is everything OK?" i know this means LIE and tell me it is even if it ain't...lol
I know the feeling.
I don't know this feeling directly. I do find this interesting with the nice simple rhymes. I'm glad that since you chose to go without punctuation that you also chose not to capitalize (I do mean it, I'm not being sarcastic). It's a shame when we can't openly share ourselves with one another without feeling vulnerable, hurt, etc. Keep sharing here though. Feel better.
i can relate as well..
I can relate!
I know exactly what you are saying...I did the exact same thing and ended up in the exact same place. I just don't some people, but just remember that someday there will be someone who loves you and your art for exactly what it is.
